Graduated from Shaheed Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine program in Las Vegas. Dr. Vaghefi worked as a hospitalist for sometime before joining Infectious Disease fellowship at the University of Massachusetts. He finished an additional fellowship in Transplant Infectious Diseases at the University of Texas, Health Science Center, Houston. Dr. Vaghefi is board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases and Texas board certified in transplant infectious diseases. Dr. Vaghefi is committed in providing excellence in his field of medical practice.
